Vienna Connect
Through Vienna Connect, the International Offices, on behalf of the City of Vienna, are launching a flexible, dynamic initiative to position Vienna internationally as a hub for innovation and business. Viennese experts contribute their expertise where relevant discussions are taking place – at international conferences, within strategic networks, and through direct exchanges with partner cities. The initiative is designed as a platform: open to all topics, dialogue-oriented, and adaptable. In this way, Vienna generates momentum, deepens existing partnerships, and builds new connections.
Vienna Connect Ljubljana 2026
From March 24 to 27, the renowned international conference on sustainable urban development, "Urban Future," took place in Ljubljana. Experts from Vienna exchanged ideas with participants from 290 cities on topics such as vibrant city centers, the circular economy, the resilience of urban societies, and change communication. The City of Vienna's participation was organized by its International Offices. The conference also saw the premiere of the new event format "Vienna Connect," which underscored the importance of international cooperation for the development of livable, sustainable, and inclusive cities.
