Vienna Science Days

The Vienna Science Days bring together representatives of the city administrations of Vienna as well as the international dialogue cities with outstanding researchers from leading universities to discuss the pressing challenges of urban development. Three events are held each year, each consisting of a Science Day and a Vienna Day.

The conferences create an inspiring platform for the exchange of ideas and the development of solutions that drive sustainability and innovation in urban environments. The Vienna Science Days continue the successful tradition of the Vienna Days, which have been an excellent networking opportunity for experts from Vienna and the dialogue cities since 2016.

Vienna and Prague have been working together for a long time in numerous areas of local government. As part of this ongoing exchange, a two-day conference was held on May 15 and 16, 2024 in Prague's Palais Clam-Gallas on the occasion of the Vienna Science Days.
